Gillian
Drummond, noted interior designer, has created splendid, timeless
interiors for homes and offices across the country for over
twenty-five years. After studying at the University of Geneva,
Switzerland and New York School of Interior Design, Gillian
began with her first apprenticeship with the renowned Marian
Hall. In addition to her apprenticeship, she also had experience
with Mario Buatta in New York. Through both of these opportunities,
as well as many others, Gillian has mastered her craft in creating “effortlessly
sophisticated” designs, as clients have described.
Gillian
previously had her design practice in New York City; Wilton,
NC; Greenwich, CT and is currently located in Wilton,
CT. She has gained a strong following through her philosophy
to work with clients with understanding and insight so the
right outcome is achieved.
“My desire is to create a timeless and uniquely personal
environment in which my clients can enjoy their lives,” says
Gillian. “A room should first serve its function, then
be comfortable, luxurious and inviting, but never take itself
too seriously.”
Gillian has appeared in Who’s
Who in Interior Design and Who’s Who in American Women
since 1985.
